1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Lunavertis. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Lunavertis ("Lunavertis," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of our website, web applications, browser-based PDF automation tools, and any associated services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing our Services, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are strictly prohibited from using the Services and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. By using Lunavertis, you represent and warrant that you have the full right, power, and authority to enter into this agreement.

When registering an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@lunavertis.com if you suspect any unauthorized access or breach of security.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

Lunavertis offers various subscription tiers, including Basic, Standard, and Premium plans. Each plan grants access to specific features such as Batch Workflows, AI Summaries, and Digital Signatures as described on our Pricing page.

Billing: By selecting a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your provided payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis. All fees are quoted in GBP (£) or EUR (€) and are exclusive of VAT or other taxes, which will be added where applicable.

Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Dashboard. Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle; no partial refunds are provided for mid-month cancellations.

4. User Content and Data Privacy

Lunavertis is designed with a "Local-First" philosophy. For many core operations, your PDF files are processed directly within your browser's memory and are not uploaded to our servers. However, where cloud-based features are used (such as AI Summaries or storage), you grant Lunavertis a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.

You retain all ownership rights to the documents you process. You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use and process the content you input into our platform. We do not sell your data or use your documents to train general AI models without explicit consent.

5. Prohibited Conduct

In using Lunavertis, you agree NOT to:

• Use the Services for any fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload any content that contains malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or limit the functionality of our infrastructure.
• Attempt to circumvent any security features, rate limits, or access controls implemented on the platform.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the platform without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Lunavertis application.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All platform software, designs, logos, trademarks, and original content provided by Lunavertis are the exclusive property of Lunavertis and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Services for your personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LUNAVERTIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES; OR (III) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in London, UK.
